Will the free goodie bag double as a sick bag when the action begins?

Good point!
I borrowed the DVD to my friend who knew nothing about it!
He was like "I thought it was a serious prison drama until that guy had 'the worse trip up accident ever!'"

the worse bit is when that old guy gets his nose planed off !!! :shocker:
Well, it was good of them to give us some advance notice! ;-) Mind you, I was not impressed after the shameless marketing and the last fight night and the misleading information given regarding some release dates. Plus the lack of decent special offers, unlike the first night.

Plus the lack of decent special offers, unlike the first night. I think this screening was part of a joint thing with Bizarre magazine. They discovered they had spare seats so they offered them last minute.
The cinema was still only 3 quarters full (it was only a small cinema). I got the feeling most people there where Bizarre people rather than hardcore HK fans (like the previous Fight Nights). I mean I detected no response when Philip Kwok cameoed! :(
Plus they were a couple of knobheads in there. The fact they didn't get it or like it was fine, but tiny comments to themselves trying to ruin it for others. Mo' Fo's.  Thankfully he fell alseep half way thru and managed to sleep pretty quitely.
Mind you, it didn't help having the bloke from Bizarre give a tiny introduction kind of raving it. Personally I've found with friends that this is a love or hate film. Which you're better of downplaying any love of it pre-screening. I usually use the tagline 'Prisoner: Cell Block H' meets <i>Bad Taste</i> with Kung Fu.
Oh and YOU <s>gotta</S> must mention it's based on a Japanese Comic. :brickwall
Free Goodie Bag was bottle of Sun Lik Beer, a couple of postcards a copy of The Introduction to HKL DVD and a VHS tape containing the Interview with 'Ricky' which is on the DVD, that was on sale early for 14.99 too. No <I>The Killer</i> for sale tho' :oh-hum:
Kudos HKL. :notworthy

Both of these are correct.
"I borrowed the DVD to my friend."
is however, gibberish;).
I see that now but at the time I was 2 minutes away from leaving to go to the screening of Ricky and wondered what the hell "What another one ?" ment!
Funnily enough I did borrow the dvd off a friend in order to lend it to another!
"So how do you like dem apples!?"
Back on topic...
Here some grabs from the HKL DVD for those that are interested...

Both of these are correct.
The second of these is only correct if the DVD in question actually features you somewhere on it!
I assume you meant to write "off" - but then again, why bother proof-reading a post correcting someone else's mistakes? :brickwall

Is this the film where one guy rips out anothers intestines and strangles him with them or am I thinking about a different one altogether?
This was given weeks of notice in last months Bizarre magazine.

Almost, he rips out his own intestines, and tries to strangle the other guy with them
