A Restoration Comparison has just been certified at the BBFC so we may be seeing this and Fox’s classic Day the Earth Stood Still early next year. Hopefully the alternate ending as seen on the laserdisc will also be included.
Excellent news, this is one I've been waiting for, and with First Men in the Moon out I think next week over here (though been out a while in the US), just need a few more classic sci fi films from this era, Forbidden Planet etc...
