Yes
yep - I liked it.
I was probably watching it with my Fincher Goggles on, but I did find it enjoyable and full of suspense.

I like that, i seem to watch all Fincher films with those goggles too.
Hurry up and release the SE so i can see this damn movie.
any news on a SE??
Great film, not his best, Seven has that accolade, but comes in second with The Game a close third.
what about Fight Club?????
I really liked it, one of the best thrillers recently IMO, couldn't help but think of Home Alone at times mind you ;)
Saw it last night and was impressed by the camerawork, Jodie still looks 20, and the tension worked for me. I agree with the Home Alone comment... that thought detracted from the impact, sadly.
I liked it ... Fincher is on a role, Se7en, The Game and Fight Club have all been impressive!
although the Game is rubbish 2nd time around..

Nope, very very average thriller.
Exactly Arch.........very averarge I thought. All the fancy CGI style camera work didnt suit the movie for starters. Strip that away and some of the silly plot devices and you have two people locked in room with 3 people trying to get in.
Dull.
I just didn't think it was too thrilling. The "baddies" are made out from the start to be inept bumbling crooks, so it just never felt like there was any real threat.
And at one point it felt quite a bit like an adult Home Alone.
Needlessly stupid CG camerawork. "Wow, the camera went through the handle on the teapot. That certainly makes up for the film's lack of suspense."
I'm glad I just borrowed it from a friend, rather than buying it.

Yeah i was thinking similar when watching Raging Bull last night, take away the fancy camera work and plot and you just have a wife beater and a few boxing matches.
:oh-hum:

I thought it was a good film but not worth owning. Whats all the big fuss with Fincher anyway?
