Question:
The Region 1 release of Buffy the Vampire Slayer Season 3 has just been announced.

I think you'll agree with me when I say that, just like all the other region 1 sets, the artwork for this one looks far superior to that of the British version.
Also, the discs have Willow, Xander, Spike etc printed on them, not just Buffy.
For $44, this is an absolute bargain if u haven't already bought it.

Faith, the rogue slayer, IMO one of the best characters the show has ever had.

Nope, I think it's just as poor as the R2 version - Faith looks like she's auditioning for porn.

doesn't seem that great to me.. just seems to be a crappy cut & paste job of some (not particularly good) promo pics
i'm not saying the R2 covers are better but it doesn't look like anything to get excited about
The price is whats to get excited about surely?
It's not just a cut and paste job, some effort has gone into equalising the skin tones, and altering the lighting on each of the characters. I agree it's not hard to do, but it does the job yes? I've not seen any better fan produced covers for Buffy anyway.
Simple, eyecatching, does the job. Looks good.:thumbs:

I like the R2s as they come in those fancy open up book type holders (apart from season 1 which is still better than the R1 as its crucifix shaped and comes with a better booklet)
Are the R1s the same ?
I hate the UK book type holders, nice idea, but a real pain to get the discs out. And you can't read the listings in the books without bending the discs back. Hoplefully the R1s will continue with the digi-Packs.
