Question:
when is feardotcom getting a UK release?
January 03 theatrically & believe me you'll kick yourself for watching it, I saw a preview last month & hated every min of it, even Jeffrey Combs is wasted. :oh-hum:
Daliah Lavi.
I haven't seen this, but this film seems to have an interesting story. Something along the lines of Ring, but with a website. It's a pity it's from the same bloke who brought us House On Haunted Hill :oh-hum: I'm sure it will appeal to the younger teen crowd though.

will they be altering the title here to fear.co.uk ? :D
If we're lucky they'll scrap the UK release completely...meow
I'm depressed such genre classics like Alex De La Iglesia's "La Comunidad" & the other Spanish horror hit "Fausto 5.0", the US indie "Wendigo" & France's "8 Women" remain unreleased & utter time wasters like Fear.zzzz & the overblown empty box of camera tricks "My Little Eye" open everywhere!?!
Thank GOD for dvd & English subtitles :notworthy
Daliah Lavi
8 Women is opening next month and will be the second UGC UK film after All or Nothing.
PS I saw My Little Eye at the Haymarket last night and thoroughly enjoyed it.

To drag this thread back up since it's getting a US DVD release now, according to Gary Couzens cinema release dates in the review forum, this is coming out here on the 6th of June!
So if you really want to see this, should probably get the DVD. Though it is apparently awful.
Sounds pretty good (even if it rips off Ring) and Stephen Rae stars, who was fantastic in Citizen X.
I promise you it is absolutely dreadful-part Ring knock off, part serial killer flick,it cant make up its mind what it wants to be,and consequently ends up being mind -numbingly dull.
Avoid.

too late its a soon-to-ship pre-order ... cant be as bad as some as the rubbish Ive seen lately though (windtalkers, xxx, ballistic) Im having a bad time keeping DVDs. :D
making a mental note...read some reviews or at least a forum before you order something...too late to cancel now :oh-hum:
I've seen this film, and all I can say is, don't waste your time. Complete tosh is you ask me, reminds me of that program Killer Net on Channel 4 a few years back, just as far fetched. Complete drivel.
Re the tv showing on Saturday...
I lasted 30 minutes in to this before I 'erased' and switched off in disgust.
What was Stephen Rea thinking to get involved in this sick fare!?

"8 Women" is on Channel 4 on 30th Dec ...
Sadly, I stuck with it to the bitter end in the vain hope it would start to make some sort of sense.
wtf was that all about?
Possibly one of the most incoherent films I've ever seen in my life (& I've seen Soul Survivors: The Killer Cut!)
The director has an eye for weird & freaky visuals, but has absolutely no idea how to tell a story!
Bad bad bad bad bad film. But not bad enough to be funny (which I thought Stephen Dorff had written into his contracts?) :suspect:
:gag:
At least the lead woman was nice... in a Jemima Goldsmith kind-of-way.
