I brought The Rock in HMV's 2 for 20 offer...looked ok not the orignal bare bones but the rereleased one.
Just started watching it...and thought thats odd, cause it said 'Criterion Collection' across the top of the menu...went to the sound settings and cool DTS:thumbs: . The cover makes no mention of criterion or the DTS tracks, no idea if the extras are the same.
But this does explain the odd dvd profilier image that appeared...must be one hell of a muck up some where, but a good one this time:)
It is the Criterion version repackaged for R2 release but not on the Crit label..
No muck up - just a good deal.
yup, better than paying £25 for the criterion version, and virually the same, even if the criterion has a ncie case, its an extra £15, so the rock r2 is a brilliant set... and interesting extras too... my fav is "secrets of alcatraz"
oh right, so dvd profiler has the wrong image as mines the red and its showing a black based one
what about the lack of dts mentioned (and I notice on the black cover version as well) surely thats a mistake? and would dts want their label on things?
