Question:
Cant decide which to watch. House on Haunted Hill on SKy or pay for 51st State on sky box office. Ive seen 51st state when it was out at pics and enjoyed it ok.
HOTHH. Good film. Some good audio effects (the 1st 10 minutes). but let down by poor CGI at the end.
if HOTHH is free then it is deffo worth a watch. and 51st state, not seen it but have heard that it is not quite accurate to the roads of liverpool!
gte hold of a copy of the Vincent Price Original of HOHH, much better :thumbs: . The remake is PANTS!

I thought they were both ****, but if i had to choose id go for 51State as it was atleast funny. A good cast is nothing with a bad script.
Yeah, House on Haunted Hill is great, I love the part where limos drive up to the house and that Manson's remake song plays.
Those who say the original is better should be in kindergarden as a dangling skeleton on a rope before an annoyingly fake screaming woman is not fun or scary.

look out for brief appearance by james marsters (spike from buffy) as well.
