Question:
I've done a search on here and found a couple of threads but they are way back from the start of the year.
Which region of the Superbit version should I get. I can get the R1 for under £14 from playcentric and the R2 for about £17.
What's anyones views?
Quality on both is excellent. R1 does not suffer from 4% speedup so audio is imho better as it is pitch correct. Its also cheaper.
It is unlikely you will see the difference between the two. I cannot really tell on a 10ft screen.
I've got the R1 Superbit and it is an excellent disc. Its the only Superbit I actually considered buying and I'm glad that I did.

The picture is better on the superbit. Don't know about the sound. I can let you know next week when my copy of 5th Element superbit arrives.
The German one (if you're talking about the Remastered Deluxe Edition) has tons of great extras. Only one of the extras is dubbed in German, all others are in English.
Oh yeah, the German version's English subtitles has quite a few errors...some even pretty funny. :)
