Question:
OK I saw this film on channel 4 about ten years ago when just a mere puberty-stricken teenager, and I think it was Italian. I caught it half way through, and it was basically a man and a woman sitting down having a chat in front of a video camera. I think they had broken up from a relationship. Anyway, very soon the two ended up making love in front of the camera.
Am i going mad? Anyone know what this film is? is it on DVD? :norty:
Are you sure it was Italian and not, say, Mexican?
It could well be Jaime Humberto Hermosillo’s Homework (1990), which fits your description and which was shown on telly almost exactly ten years ago (10 October 1992, to be strictly accurate).
If the whole film appeared to be shot in one take from a fixed position, that's the one.
That could well be it! any idea of a DVD release? I have to see it again, you see ;)
Metro Tartan handled the rights in the early 1990s, so Tartan is your best bet - but I don't know of any plans to release it.
