Question:
It looks as the first 12 films are to be released in Region 1 as a box set. No extras, but the films are to be 1:1.66 widescreen anamorphic (as they should be) with theatrical trailers. Presumably the rest of the films will be to follow!
(also box set has an extra disc - That's Carry on)
No - the remainder will not follow as they're owned by a different licensee. The same applies in the UK, with the acceptible Warner releases of the first 12 and VCI's shoddy releases of the remainder.
The good news is that Carlton will start rereleasing the VCI versions on R2 next year with correct aspect ratio and a wealth of extras :clap:

The cheapest I have found this set is £54.99 at *********, anyone know if its cheaper any where alse?
