Question:
Did a quick search and couldn't find any threads on this, so sorry if its already been posted.
Deleted scenes on the DVD will be:
Padmé Addresses the Senate.
Jedi Temple Analysis Room.
Obi-Wan & Mace - Jedi Landing Platform.
Extended Arrival on Naboo.
Padmé's Parents' House.
Padmé Bedroom.
Dooku Interrogates Padmé.
Anakin and Padmé on Trial.
(As seen on Starwars.com)
So, no extended lightsaber action :norty:
So no "lost 20" scene. That'll **** off a few people...unless it's back in the film.

'Jedi temple analysis room," maybe?
Padmé Bedroom
Now that's a cutscene I want to see. :norty:

No - that's Obi Wan analysing the dart. It's already been shown at some convention somewhere.

What's the "lost 20" scene?
It precedes the current scene in the Jedi Library. The Librarian explains to Obi Wan that Dooku is the most recent of only 20 Jedi who have ever left the order, and explains why he left. It's a nice bit of exposition, and many felt should be put back in.
It's in all the published scripts - as are many other deleted scenes.

Cheers for that, how come it isn't in the list above then?
Don't know - maybe they felt it wasn't acted/shot well enough to warrant inclusion (cue derisory laughter).
Of course there's a teeny chance that it might be included in the main film (like a couple of scenes on TPM). I doubt they've pressed the discs yet - and the preview discs that some have could still be subject to change.
There's a R1 promo out already, so maybe they have already pressed them...?

i think gavin was indeed talking about the R1 promo when he said "preview discs" above. they obviously pressed a limited batch of promo discs, but may well not have pressed the final retail run yet, though i'd be surprised if the contents haven't been 100% locked down for months.
have to say i'm disappointed with the deleted scene selection and, as with the episode I dvd, i hope that lucasfilm are holding some of the tastier scenes back for the saga set in a few years time. all those scenes with the naberrie family are the most turgid in the entire script and it's just as well they were left out of the movie. particularly disappointed that dooku using two sabers isn't on the dvd.

I was indeed - but seeing how Lucas changed scenes in the film right up to the release - resulting in two slightly different prints (hmm - how did that get past the BBFC) - there is a tiny chance there will be changes to the DVD at the last minute.
Although it's fairly unlikely.
Will there be a deleted scene included in the DVD which turns it into a good film?
