Question:
The festive season is fast approaching and my girlfriend has promised to get me a couple of DVDs. :)
However, I have been out of the scene for a while now (skint), so don't know what is currently available. I will go for a browse on Play after work, but was wondering if there are any titles I should be considering.
Fortunately, I like all kinds of movies :norty: so anything goes.
Much obliged.

Die Hard 1 & 2, Lethal Weapon and Batman Returns are all set at christmas :D
Cannibal Holocaust.
Well you did say you liked all kinds of movies! :D

But seriously Back To The Future R1 or Band Of Brothers or Both!:D
National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation
Attack Of The Clones, Minority Report, Spider-Man, Lord Of The Rings (Extended), Red Dwarf Series 1
Those are some of the ones I'm looking forward to in the run up to Chrimble......

I second that !!
but at xmas, i like to watch any B&W film this just the xmas tree lights on. Now thats xmas for ya !!!
I don't think NexusSheep actually meant 'Christmas' themed movies. More DVDs he should tell his girlfriend to get him for Christmas.
I'll go with Uridium's recommendations and add Futurama Season 2.
I don't mind Crimbo movies too much, but Gary is right - I wasn't just asking for movies in this yuletide genre. I think perhaps my thread title is misleading. Oh well. Like I said, anything goes. Thanks for the suggestions so far.
I sure hope Blade Runner is re-released in time for Christ Mass, but I doubt it.
Happy Valentine's Day, y'all. (don't ask).
Santa Claus: The Movie

Thanks Carl
Never heard of it before but I'll get a copy for my kids for Christmas.
(Just ordered from DVD Box Office for £6.67 :D )
Cheers, Paul
For Kids, get The original Grinch that stole Christmas, narated by Boris Karloff. There's an enhanced version out and it's much better than the Jim Carrey version.
