Welcome to the forums cinemagary :)
I'm afraid you may be in for a bit of ribbing posting that :D
We do indeed know of it and most forum members who went for the R4 got it for even less than that.
Enjoy :notworthy

ok i've had an inkling about this before but now i'd really like to know. i've looked on the cd-wow site and can only find the r4 version, so is it dual-region or something?
(really need to get a multi-region player so it doesn't make any difference)

The R4 version they sell is definitely R2 too - I bought my copy from there and it plays fine with my player set to R2, and it also says region 4 and 2 on the back.

Unless you get hit by customs, like me, and have to pay almost 9 Euros for custom fees.

It has far less features than the R1 box set and even one of the producers of the movies said that there's no difference between the 5.1 and the dts track.
And the extras that actually are on the R4 are really not that good - the documentaries consist of far too many scenes from the films and the one commentary is not scene-specific and basically just repeats most of the info that is in the documentary. Also it doesn't last till the end of the movie and is basically just a Q&A with the two Bobs and some students where some French guy reads the questions the students have given him.
I'll get rid of my R4 on eBay and wait for the R1.

Lets not go OTT.
It has a few more extras and loses some extras found on the R4.
Take your pic !, give me PAL over a couple of extra deleted scenes anyday.
