Question:
Has anyone checked out Brotherhood of the wolf yet? Either the HMV exclusive version or the standard R2, both out today? The boxes of both reckon they have a 5.1 English dubbed and only 2.0 French soundtrack. If this is the case, I'm going to have to wait for the Canadian release.
Stevie
looks like disc 1 (of HMV's version) and the regular 'single disc' version are the exact same disc that's been available for rental. Wait for the Canadian - only a few squids more than the HMV set.
If you don't speak French am I right in thinking that there is no version at all with the commentaries subtitled in English?
So the rental version has definitely been a 2.0 French? What are they playing at?
oh well.
In answer to your other query, it's my understanding that the commentaries will not be subtitled, so there is no way of getting them in comprehensible form, barring an A level or better in French. I had one of those once. Too long ago.

i could have sworn in Tescos, I saw on the back that it has either...
English dubbed or
French with English subtitles.
Has a could of special features, then thats it.

that'll be the 1 disc version - same one that's been available to rent for a while.
Well - if you're able to speak German you could get the German version which has the commentaries subtitled.
But I don't think that learning German is very popular in british schools.
