Question:
Someone I know is looking for a film, he described it to me and I have nooooooo idea! The only thing I've come up with so far as a possibility is Stephen Kings "The Stand" miniseries but I don't think its that.... Can anyone help? The description I got of him is as follows:
im looking for a film that i saw many years ago, where everyone in the world is dead bar a few people. these people who have dreams of being in a tunnel and seeing a light and they believe that if they dont wake up before they reach it they will die... for some reason one of them works out that they need a truck full of C4 to blow something up to stop this stuff from happening... thats all i remember, i never saw the begining or the end of the film. i remember they came up to a road accident at one point and there were dead bodies around the place, and one guy walks up and says "hmmmm no maggots..."

i saw The Stand a LONG time ago.. but i'd also agree on you with that, considering it's like 6hrs if wouldn't be suprising he hadn't seen the beginning/end ! :D
but i remember the truck with C4 etc..

i remember that out of the survivors there was one white guy, one black guy and a white woman. (maybe a couple more but i dont remember them) the white guy walked into a church in one scene and was angry at god for letting this stuff happen and takes pot shots at a statue of christ on the cross. he then goes to a military installation or something for some more guns and a truck appears to move by itself but theres a black guy there and they team up. they then go to a mental institute (for fear factor???) i dont think they find anything there, or maybe they find the woman there. then they drive off and see that accident on the road and the white guy says "hmmm no maggots" then they drive off, sleep a bit then get the truck with the C4. thats all i remember
