Hercules (Disney) [R2], Tape [R1] - Anamorphic or Not ?
Question:

I'm pretty certain both versions of 'Hercules' (Disney) [R2] are non-anamorphic, & I've read a review of 'Tape' [R1] that says it is anamorphic, but the packaging is a dead loss info wise.
Can anyone confirm what the score is here please, one way or the other.
Thanks :)

Tape R1 is definately anamorphic! (I have it)

The old version of Hercules isn't anamorphic but it is 1.66:1 so that is not much of a problem. Unsure whether the newer version is any different.

I think it's a dilibrate ploy so that people can't make a purchase decision based on weather the movie is anamorphic
Beuna Vista/Disney = Evil scumbags

Thanks Richie - I was hoping it was as the forthcoming R2 release doesn't look like it will feature the commentary.

I'm not too worried about it picture wise - I have some MGM releases that are like this - but I ain't prepared to shell out £15 for it if it isn't anamorphic.
Roll on the next 2 for £20 Disney offer :D
