Question:
I've just been looking at Amazon.fr and DVD Zone 2 to try to order the French release of Kassowitz's La Haine. The disc appears to be have been deleted. Does anyone have any further information?
Thanks.
You can get it from www.fnac.com - cost is around €26.

Thanks for that. I've taken the plunge and ordered it since it's probably my only way of getting hold of a decent version of the film. Has anyone used fnac - are they any good? How long might I have to wait for my copy?
Thanks.
i got brotherhood of the wolf from them took 5 days over the bank holiday weekend.
I find Fnac to be very reliable - I tend to actually go into their shops and buy stuff over the counter, but by all accounts the website service is pretty good. I think "La Haine" is listed as having 24-hr availibility, so with any luck it should only take 3-4 days to get to you (I'm assuming, of course, that you're in the UK!).
As a rough comparison, I ordered something (with 24-hr availability) from Amazon.fr late on Monday and it came yesterday (Thursday) morning. I'd expect about the same from Fnac.
Hope this helps...

Thanks very much for your help! Yes, I am Royaume Uni-based and found it very disconcerting to find just how much I've forgotten my school French lessons.
Thanks.
