Question:
im thinking of buying this from DVD Import for about £7 but all I can remember about it is the opening with a women walking her poodle and a hand coming out of a drain and grabbing the dog and dragging bith the dog and the women into the sewer. Does anyone else remember this film and is it worth buying???
I used to have it on VHS and IIRC it was very poor but it's many years since I've seen it
Ive been meaning to pick this up for a while and for £7 you can't go wrong really. I think the sequel C.H.U.D. 2: Bud The Chud is out on Region 2, and its worth buying that alone for the main title song "BUD THE CHUD! BUD THE CHUD! BUD THE CHUD!" :nuts:
It also has a very early cameo from Mr John Goodman.
I bought this when it got released a year or so back. I think this is a nice little horror flick. A bit of gore, bit of suspense, plenty for everyone.
I like Daniel Stern's performance in C.H.U.D. - the film is creepy and entertaining.
I loved C.H.U.D. II - Meat - poodles :D
This has one of the best commentaries you will ever hear on it,they just really rip into the film and each others performances!!:D

And on the extras menu is an Easter Egg which shows the full shower scene uncut. Assuming this is the Anchor Bay disc? Just click up or left (not sure which) to make the eyes light up and you'll find this hidden extra. :)
