Question:
This used to be everywhere, and when I finally decided to get it, it disappeared. I found a copy now but thats only coz I work at woolies, but all the online retailers, normal shops etc havent got it anymore? why did it disappear?
If you work at Woolies, could you do me a favour?
Ask the assistants to stop smearing fingerprints all over those nice shiny discs, and if you could get rid of those bloody cardboard slipcases which scratch the *#*# out of dvds i'd be very grateful. :D

This was released by columbis tristar to start with.
Now by Universal.
They are the same and there was only a delay of about one month between the old version on new. HMV have it so do most other places.
The only difference is the price. Columbia version was £12.99 and universal charge £19.99
This is the same for a lot of the titles that were dealt with by columbia such as scarface to name another one
I had the R2 for a while but gave it to a friend when I bought the anamorphic R1:)
If your multi-region I suggest you go for the R1 too!
Isn't Casino getting a reissue in the coming months? I was under the impression the current edition is pretty sparse on the extras front and a flipper?

The Casino DVD has always been a dual-layered disc. The presentation that we have at the moment could be better - but it is in no way terrible: a good non-anamorphic widescreen picture, six sets of subtitles, an equal amount of language, but sadly just a trailer and filmography/biography for extras.
