Hey I just want to share I got the Nightmare on Elmstreet 8 disc set in today. I guess it's a re-release but frankly I don't really care. I am very happy with it. What's the deal with this 5 disc version Nightmare on Elmstreet box?

You mean the R2 version? It's crap, misses out Freddy's Dead, New Nightmare and the Nightmare Encyclopedia. Probably be cheaper than the 8-disc one though, if you don't like the last two and don't care for extras. But what's the point of buying a DVD movie collection box set if all the films of the series aren't in there? (Anchor Bay take note re. the Halloween Box-Set)



seen as how the R1 version can be picked up for £40 now, theres little point in getting the R2.
The packaging on R2 was all clips from New Nightmare although it wasnt even in the boxset :D
