Why is it dated?
"Why is it dated?"
...because it is old (1987) ?... (...in the eyes of young whippersnappers...)
. . . :smokin: . . .
Great film
(used to fancy Jenny Wright in it too when it first came out :norty: )

Wot they all said above!
I think you should just buy the R1 (Anchor Bay) version thats out sep 30th (I think).
It's only £11 ish from either boxoffice or dvdsoon.
You wont regret it!

From a film-making perspective, not its age. :p

Exactly what I ment! Its score is wonderful too - but could be construed as a little aged...
I loved it though - Really memorable.
EDIT: Tangerine Dream did it... ]:notworthy

And as mine turned up yesterday morning , Thank you ABsound ... I'm just about to go watch it ... The packaging is meant to be in 3D according to the Anchor Bay web site , bit its just a normal foldout digi-pack ... from the quick 10mins spin I gave the disk the picture quality seems good for such a low budget film , especially from a film set a night and dusk :)

My reactions to this film in chronolgical order during the running time of this film are as follows;
:) :) :| :| :)
(in other words, great start, lags a bit in the middle but improves towards the end again)
I really would love to get the recent Anchor Bay Special Edition!
Too bad they did not include any subtitle track at all, only real Closed Captions, and my English is not that good.

So many films, so little time...
Checked mine too, was posted 02.31am!:rocker:
I was watching the 'Living In Darkness' documentary on the Anchor Bay Special Edition, and at one point an appeal was made to actress Jenny Wright by the actor Adrian Pasdar to contact him. Does anyone know what this is about? I got the impression that maybe something bad happened to her or something.
A belated  from me.
Lance and Bill really want to make a prequel too ;)

...erm... it seems the lady simply stopped making movies...

Yes i know that. I meant, what happened to make her just disappear from movies and lead another actor to make an appeal to her. I mean, a lot of actors stop making films for periods of time, but they don't just disappear from the public eye completely.
