Question:
Blade 2 - Canadian version.
Do it have English subtitles on the DVD ?
Yes
Does it have a bi-lingual cover and any chance of a scan of it!!:)
Here's the front cover. Doesn't look too bad. The spine will propably though look like crap.

It says Blade 2 twice - that's all.
Actually overall the cover looks fine to me. Besides, I'm buying the film :shocker: for wait....THE FILM :D

Did it at least say 'Blade 2' and 'Le Blade 2' ?
Or maybe 'Lame 2' or 'Ailette 2'.
Just printing 'Blade 2' twice seems even more silly than the usual bi-lingual cover.

Nope, pretty certain that K-Pax was like that too. Some US distributors used to print double-sided covers with English on one side and French on the other. Wonder why they can't do the same now with English on one side and English/French on the other. I wouldn't have thought it would cost them too much extra to do.
Thumbs up from me on this movie, never got to see it at the Cinema; I bet that was intense  . Not a bad Friday night film at all.
It says Blade 2 not Le Blade 2. Names are not translated, as it's the same in English or French.
I actually think the bilingual version isn't that bad. :)
I'm just pleased that I can watch this great film again in the comfort of my home.
Cheers!
Lol check out that comment on the case

Cheers! Er, so its says "Blade 2" twice, in English, WTF is the point of that?
Also you say the bilingual package isn't bad, but exactly what French does feature on it?

it wasn't that intense, just disappointing afte the stylish original.
There's an ad for EIV in this months Empire for Blade 2 and the cover looks better than the R1!!!!!!!!
It's basicly the same but loses the 'platnum banner' and amazingly all the quotes!

Im betting that will be plastered with quotes come release day
The weird thing about the Canadian version is the text on the back which is basically split into two columns English and French, but the cover is actually double-sided with the other side being identical apart from the English and French columns being reversed.
Surely an all English and all French version would have made more sense.

Got my copy today from DVD Soon (£11.50 delivered  ) and it looks a top notch package. Look forward to hopefully watching it later and see if its as good as I thought it was at the cinema!
Lovely price, I think I will order it at the end of month
Very dissapointing - bought it 'cos Blade was a very enoyable popcorn flick and Blade II is directed by Del Toro, but it seemed to me like they wrote it by asking a comittee of 13yr old boys what they liked most about the first one. Someone should of mentioned the word PACING at the editing stage!
