Are there plans for more Nicolas Roeg dvd releases?
Question:

Having just watched Don't Look Now and Man Who Fell To Earth again after a long, long time I fancy seeing some of his other flicks again, alas not many are out on dvd (I know Walkabout has a nice Criterion release which I've actually owned and traded on twice, lol)......
Also trying to find Peter Greenaway's The Falls which I haven't seen in ages as well as The Quiet Earth........guess I'll have to settle for VHS, depressing innit :oh-hum:

Answers:

Don't tell anyone I told you, but I wouldn't buy The Falls on VHS just yet...
(is there a smiley for tapping the side of your nose conspiratorially?)
As for the other important Roegs, Warner own Performance and Carlton own Bad Timing, and I've no idea who owns Eureka - and I don't know of any plans for any of them.

Answers:

Actually I heard that Rank's (and therefore Carlton's) rights to Bad Timing had expired, so if that's true then no-one owns it.
Eureka is a United Artists film, so presumably MGM own it (presuming rights haven't expired).
I'd like to see Insignificance on DVD as well, but I've no idea who owns that. (Palace were the UK distributor, but they're long since defunct.)
I have heard rumours that a Performance DVD is in the works - but no more than rumours, and second-hand ones at that.

Answers:

According to Carlton's website, they still own it. (For various professional reasons, I'm rather hoping they do!)
