Anyone have this French R2 disc? Cinestore seem to indicate the subs are fixed while Amazon amd DVDfr don’t mention it.



...ahh... according to dvdfr the <a href="http://www.dvdfr.com/dvd/fiche.php3?id=2159">French DVD</a> features five soundtracks plus eight subtitle tracks... so, no: all are optional...

...my previous post concerned Jeu d'Enfant - which is the French title for the 1988 American movie Child's Play...
...however, to make this as suspenseful as vintage Hitchcock, there is a French movie that bears the title Un Jeu d'Enfants (note the subtle differences between the two French titles!) and which is an entirely different kettle of fish, since it features a DD 5.1 French soundtrack (only), plus optional (one would hope) <a href="http://www.dvdrama.net/fiche.php?2287">English subs</a> (only)...

...which was filmed for 20 million French Francs (= the proverbial chicken feed) on Super-16mm stock... and received bad <a href="http://www.videofreak.net/index.html#/php_filme/show_movie.php?film_id=2897&refid=11">German</a> and <a href="http://club-culture.com/cinema/jeudenf.htm">French</a> reviews...
