Collect Questions

Ive heard reports that the picture quality is not so hot on this film, can anyone else shed some light on this matter?
Incidentially my copy has shipped from Play.com yesterday!
Any sign of The Burbs SE?



The first edition of Gremlins had a proper bobbins picture. The SE picture has been remasterd.
Heres a review (http://dvd.ign.com/articles/367/367015p1.html) that shows the diffrence between the two versions.

had terrible luck with deliveries this week. had the week off so i ordered loads of stuff to watch. still haven't recieved gremlins, traffic criterion, red beard criterion and back to the future from ********* and my kubrick box set from play. much forum surfing when i should have been watching films!



Both Gremlins and Gremlins 2 have been shipped for me, a race between DVD Box Office and CDNow to see who gets it to me first. Doesn't matter, as I'll be too busy watching BTTF.



Dont think its been mentioned before - the Gremlins SE appears to be region free.
Bit odd for a Warner release - anyone know if this was a mistake?

Waiting for the region 4 versions of these, Is gremlins 2 as funny as i remember it to be?

Given the quantity of sly in - jokes in GREMLINS 2 that's not what I would have said.



Hang on is this definite, so Gremlins SE will definitely play on an R2 player?

My copy plays on my R2-only player, I haven't got Gremlins 2 though.....



Gremlins Picture is good but 2 is better!:smokin:



a number of warner back catalogue releases have been region free lately. looks like someone is finally getting the message about films that have no release window to protect:clap:



Either that or they're gearing up for R1/2/4 NTSC releases :(
