Question:
My brother is looking to buy this and he has hit a slight problem... IMDB claim there is a R1 release
Amazon claim it was released by Anchor Bay on : July 19, 2002
However they list it as limited availability (ie they haven't and won't be getting stock)...
details here
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/stores/detail/-/dvd/B00006G8GD/tech-info/103-5111568-6659056
Anchor Bay US don't even mention it on their website and no other site seems to carry it that I can find...
So was this released?
If not do we have a new date?
Or was there some rights issue which has stuffed up the release?
As far as I know, Captain's Paradise will only be made available as a bonus disk by Anchor Bay in their Alec Guinness Box set (equivalent to the Ealing Collection in R2).
No doubt at some stage it will be released separately.

So many films, so little time...
