Last I knew it was not coming out until the 1st quarter of 2003.

This is one of my most eagerly anticipated films at the moment. (Funnily enough, one of the others is Once Upon a Time in the Midlands).
Curse you Spy Kids, for delaying this film! Although having said that, I loved Spy Kids and will no doubt be checking out Spy Kids II.
I must be turning into a Rodriguez fanboy. Only the other day, I was watching Mask of Zorro for the first time, and thinking to myself how much better it would have been if he'd directed it. It was only when I looked it up on IMDB afterwards that I found out he was considered for the job at one point. If only...

Rodriguez was on GMTV this morning and he confirmed that he's going to do Spy Kids 3 but also mentioned the March release for Once Upon a Time in Mexico.
