Worth a watch if not for anything else but the brilliant Ian McKellen! Loved the short story - was mildy entertained by the film.
mind give it a go then.
:)
suppose the 2 bottles of Blosson Hill wine will aid the enjoyment:)
any other feedback:)
I really like it :) (Although I know some people don't...)
Yun' Brad's a bit on the annoying side (not you Brad, him Brad), but McKellen's great as Tiffany says \o/ The plot could have done with a tad more thought I reckon, but it's got some very good ideas behind it :)
I'll give it... three Sputs out of five :smokin:
woooooooo 3 sputs out of 5, thats makes it unmissable in my books lol:)
mind made up, I'll watch it
brilliant one of my favourites!
Didn't think a lot of it myself. Good idea but didn't go anywhere. I haven't read the book but I got the feeling it had been toned down to avoid upsetting anyone, which makes it kind of pointless considering the subject matter. McKellen was good though and David Schwimmer proves he can do something other than Ross.
The ending is totally crap if I recall. The short story was good though, and the collection it came from well worth a read.
Very good performance from Ian McKellen (as you'd expect) but the film kind of fizzles out before it gets going.
BTW
TAPE OVER RANDOM HEARTS NOW. DO NOT INFLECT THE PAIN ON YOURSELF.
Read the novella - the film is a really watered down version.

Me mam was watchin' Random Hearts last night, caught about half an hour of it while waiting to watch a DVD. How **** is that film? Jesus Christ! Slow, dull and boring
just watched it, thought it was dire. The kid in it annoyed me, seemed to have the same mardy expression throughout the entire film. :oh-hum:
