Princess Monoke is a very good one, As is ghost in the shell, Perfect Blue, Ninja Scrolls, Metropolis.

For pure action Mas I could highly recommend Spriggan.
There's nothing deep or meangingful here but damn it looks and sounds nice and is very enjoyable as well :)
I would recommend the region 4 for a cheap, good version of the film :)
