Question:
Looking for a decent budget player for a friend, he's not got much cash so one of the bargain models will suffice.
Whats the consesus on the budge tmodels about these days?
Not bothered about how it looks but must be remote regional hackable, with the ability to play CD's, VCD/SVCD's and possibly mp3 as well...
I had a ook at the two cheapo models in Adsa - the pacific and the schneider, any good ?
Any suggestions ?

Having just bought a Schneider 857 from Asda I can wholeheartedly reccommend one, does the lot, well made (within reason!) nice to use etc.
Only £38 and with a 3 year gaurantee too!

Can't beat the Toshiba SD330 in my opinion, and you can get it for £69 if you use the Richer Sounds price promise.

Nice looking player but the Tosh 330 probably has a better picture and nowadays with the budget end being sub £50 it seems £125 is more mid range anyway.
yeah he;s looking at a bargain basement one 60-65 tops although 40 approx is what hes leaning towards...
