Question:
Had a mico dvd player for about 3 years now and never had any difficulty playing anything on it.
Then all of a sudden it now wont play anything, I have tried cleaning it but it didnt help. It starts 'wirring' but then cant find the disk. Should I give up?
The problem is I am completly broke and cant afford a new player if I do buy one it needs to be dirt cheap to take as I am moving to Egypt and I dont want to take anything decent with me. Any suggestions?

It sounds like a misalignment issue and should be easily repaired.
Did you clean the actual laser?
Sounds like the laser could have gone from reading previous threads.Argos are currently doing an ALBA for £37 which looks ok and then theres the compact cyberhome dvd400 for £49 from whsmiths

I just used a normal dvd cleaning disk. So, how do I fix this then? I am kinda attatched to the player (must be a girly thing!)
