Question:
Hi,
Whats the best cheap dvd player that can play dvdr, dvdrw, vcd , svcd e.t.c?
Im looking for excellent sound and picture quality as well please.
There are a multitude of cheap DVD players to choose from and I havent got a clue which is the best option :(
Also the Toshiba SD330 looks good value at around £80 :) any ideas?
I have the Cyberhome 400 bought from WHSmith for £49.99, it plays everything.

Do you happen to know how this comapares with the Toshiba SD330 or Yamanda player for example?
It's disadvantage against those two are that the cyberhome doesn't have an onscreen display.

Many thanks for this. Been at my old man to get a proper DVD Player for a while (the one on the comp is just crap), and I had virtually the same question as mattyp, i.e. I needed one which could play DVDR's, SVCD, VCD, etc. The Cyberhome looks just the ticket.
Cheers.
