Question:
I have found this model for sale for only £500........ for a set with os many features (ie 100 hz, PIP, etc) it seems really cheap for a 32 inch TV from a big company (JVC). I havnt been able to find much on it though, which suggests its no longer sold, and eventually did manage to find a review from a online magazine that raved about it - but the review was written at the end of 2000, meaning the set is getting onto being 3 years old.
Would i be right in assuming soemthing this old would no longer be at the cutting edge of technology??? Should i steer clear?
I have a 32" black JVC bought in 1999, with no PIP, no 100Hz, BUT its been sooperb and cost 800 quid, so this model sounds like a right good deal. ( BTW, mine is black, before SILVER became the new bLACK)
Just to help anyone else that might look at this thread and be able to help me - its the TV atthe bottom of this page:

If you thinking of buying this TV phone them up & ask them if its brand new boxed or ex-demo, If its ex-demo I don't think you'll want a TV that's been turned on & off everyday for the last 3 years. It could also be subject to damage as a result of being moved around the showroom frequently too.
Yep.. I saw this deal and thought it was a great price too.
JVC 50hz TVs get better reviews than their 100hz models though. But the spec on this model is amazing for the price.
100hz technology has improved over the past few year, but if the review does not mention smearing problems then this TV is a steal.
P.S could you post a link to the review please ;)
