Missed the boat on this, but you might be able to help me anyway. I'm looking at buying 2 x Panny S35 and 1 x Panny E50 as a complete solution for my house.
I see from your summary that they use a chipped remote upgrade. What does this cost? (can't see that on the site, probably being dull!)
Would the same remote work for all three players?
Would the players be RCE compatible after being made M/R?
Just trying to work out what's cheapest for me (buy R2 and make them multiregion myself or buy multiregion).
as very few places charge any more for multiregion now it makes sense to buy the units already done and then you have a warranty with the store that Multiregioned it rather than buy as R2 then upgrade them and have the store try to wriggle out of warranty for this reason.
How that for good impartial advice ! watch out Car Phone Warehouse :)
Steve - You don't know anthing about an upgrade cost for a Yamaha S540 or whether it is a simple remote hack do you? I can't find out any info on it and ordered one from Unbeatable.co.uk only to find a few days later superfi are selling one already modded. Thanks. Nigel.
