Needs to be a decent brand name - No happy shopper stuff please.;)
Any recommendations ?.
Panasonic or JVC as they are the best quality thses days.Prices are quite reasonable if you get them off the net or try John Lewis.

Well I got a Samsung SV-657B from www.be-direct.co.uk for £110 delivered.
Never had a Samsung VCR before but its pretty decent for the money and a very stylish design too.
My last two videos were Panasonic. The first lasted 7 days then the tuner stopped working and my second one needs a new head after 16 months!!! Not been used that much either.
Toshiba are pretty decent and quite cheap too online.
