Question:
i need a good dvd player capable of playing all formats and all copies, i currently borrowed a copy of bruce almighty and have been told that it is m-peg? my 2 current dvd players will not support this, although they do play vcd's as ive got matrix in that format. my current newest model is the sanyo sl25 i got this as i was told it was easy to unlock it to play any format/region using a code available on the sanyo website(typical sales crap).
anyway can anyone point me in the direction of a dvd player that will play any and all dvds or any copies.

Well the Toshiba SD330 is a great DVD player.
Can't help you with playing copies as it is against the T&C's of this site and you really shouldn't be discussing them here.
sorry i didnt mean to break any rules....
what i was refering to is that i download files in vcd format and mpeg format, these are perfectly ligit, i only mentioned the copy because i usually play mpeg and vcd on my pc, but because this was a movie i wanted to watch it on the 'big screen'. saying that though some of the funny clips ive downloaded off the net in mpeg format and burned onto disk are still unwatchable on the dvd player...this is my main concern and not actually getting loads of copied dvd's/cd's as the quality of pirates is usually pretty poor anyway.
