Question:
We're considering getting one of those dinky LCD TVs for the bedroom. I understand there can be problems with viewing angles (particularly from below) with some of these sets. Any advice or recommendations? Thanks in advance
Stevie
The Sony 15" I was in John Lewis for £595 looked very good yesterday.
That looks like about the right price, and Sony should be a safe bet, but I think this is a 4:3 screen size. I think some companies (Panny? Tosh?) do 16:9....?
Stevie
Avoid the Panny - it can't be viewed from below. Look at Samsung and Sharp - but do check the vertical viewing angle before you buy; even within a manufacturer, they aren't all the same.
Cool. Thanks for the info. I will check these out

Have a look around on the net as Ive seen a Samsung 17" for £599 when I was looking and it was over £1000 in John Lewis.Model number is something like 17N13 or something like that.
Took a look at the 15" model in currys today and it seems good, with enough of a tilt to make it visible from a slightly lower viewing angle. Pic looked as good as a much more expensive model - sharp, I think it was.
17" might be just too big for the bedroom, but I will look around. Thanks.
