Amazon Toshiba SD330e Multiregion DVD Player owners help required
Question:

Hi,
It appears that no-one who has bought a player from Amazon, has confirmed that it plays R1 RCE titles, although other Tosh owners have confirmed compatability.
As the multi-region software from companies differ, other companies MR may work with RCE, & Amazon’s may not.
Can any Amazon owning Toshiba SD330e owner confirm whether or not it plays RCE Region 1?
Thanks a lot
Delh

I've got one of the Amazon Tosh's but no region 1 DVDs - all mine are R2 - if you want to send me a R1 you don't want anymore, or pay postage back, I'll test it for you. By the way the darn things are now £79 - I paid £99 but still well worth it.

Actually, this has been confirmed, though to be fair you'd have to read both my postings in separate threads confirming that I bought my player from Amazon and that I had no problems playing back RCE titles with it.
But I'm happy to confirm both facts in one place if it makes life easier.
Incidentally, I was so impressed by the Toshiba 330 that I decided to buy one for my dad's birthday, and couldn't help noticing that the price has gone down to £79.99 in the last few days - making it even more of a bargain than it was last month!
