Anyone upgraded their Sky+ to 120Gb
Question:

The Better Satellite mag shows you how to do it. You get 60hrs recording from a 120Gb hard drive for £120. The Maxtor 40Gb hard drive is standard in the Sky+ box. www.maxtor.com The only thing is you will void the guarantee.

Been looking at doing this on the avforums. Apparently, whilst you do void the warranty there is no seal on the box so if anything does go wrong you just replace the old HD and sky should be none the wiser.
And people have fitted £75 120Gb drives and they've worked fine...

Yup definately no seal, people on the DS forums have done this and if/when the box has gone wrong, they switched in back and got a replacement Sky+ box.
Can't be bothered to do this myself, I have trouble fitting in time to watch what I've recorded so far, I don't need 3x more to get through!
