Question:
I just bought my first sey of HC speakers Yesterday and have a question regarding them. If the answer is obvious then please forgive my ignorance as i have no clue about this kind of stuff.
The Kit in question is the Limit HC40's, on the box it says DTS ready. Does that mean that if my player has a DTS decoder built in that i can DTS through these speakers?

Not unless you have an amp that can receive the DTS signal.
Most amps these days have a DTS decoder built-in and these are generally better than the decoders in players. To that end you would simply connect the player to an amp via a digital coaxial cable (either electrical or oprical) and connect your speakers to the amp.
Without an amp you'll get no sound (I'm assuming here that the Limit HC40 isn't an all-in-one system containing a unit which acts as a player/amp).
