HS2 Question - How can I watch something else whilst dubbing?
Question:

I've got my video going into my satellite decoder and then that going into my HS2 via SCART so I can record from both video and sky without changing any cables.
But when I'm dubbing in high speed the screen stays in dubbing mode, is there any way I can watch a video or satellite program when this is happening? As the data goes via the HS2 I want it to just show what’s passing through not the dubbing screen.
Also when dubbing in normal speed it shows what is being dubbed, is there any way to watch something else from the hard disk or like above a video or satellite.
With my current set-up it is flexible for recording but makes my TV out of bounds when dubbing unless there is a solution to this.

Answers:

Best suggestion I guess is just unplug the HS2 from everything else.
TBH I do must dubbing at home at about 5:30 and pop off to play on the PC then come back a few hours later and it's done.

Answers:

I have the rf output from my sky box hooked into the rf of the tv - when I'm recording from tivo to DVD I watch sky on the rf feed, not as good quality (by a long shot), but better than nothing.
