Here goes my first post..... I have purchased an LG MZ42P17 plasma screen from richer sounds around feb time and was told, as I am being now (by LG and Richer sounds) that it will play PAL progressive scan. It has taken this long to get my DENON 2800MKII to output Pal progressive scan ( not to mention the months of decorating to get the thing on the wall properly!) so what a dissapointment when the screen seems unable to lock onto the picture. I am being told the input board might be faulty but after reading some of the post on this site am begining to wonder if the MZ42P17 will accept PAL progressive, the very reason I purchased it!!!!!!!! I would very much appreciate any comments you have and does anyone know the answer....DOES THE LG MZ42P17 ACCEPT A PAL PROGRESSIVE SCAN SIGNAL???

I'm pretty sure that it doesn't. If you do a search on www.avforums.com you should find a definitive answer.
I think it does prog scan on ntsc only.
