Question:
Bought one from Safeways last Sunday, very impressive machine for the price!
Question - the player clicks (ticks) like a clock when playing DVDRs, much quieter with pressed DVDs, is this normal?, or have I got a bad DVD mechanism?
Any answers would be welcome.

I get this, I think it's probably because the laser has to work that little bit harder when reading a DVD-R :confused:
I don't really know but that's what I'd guess at.
The player really makes some noise when playing a CD-R full of MPEGs :nuts:
