Question:
Does anyone know of any HiFi dealers open today in the North West - Sunday 29/6 - that have QED Bronze spker cable ready to go?
Richersounds don't have it listed on their site and I'm going to try Bolton Sound & Vision. Looking for somewhere in Cheshire, Bolton, Manchester (South if poss) etc
If anyone can provide any other links I'd be most grateful. Presently I'm completing a laminate floor in the lounge and it'll hopefully be finished today. Got the edging ready to cover the wires but I've just found out that I'm short on cable after re-arranging my amp layout (thought I had plenty!!):dork:
Failing that I may just buy a new lot - but I need about 50m:(
I doubt you'll get any today. Best waiting til tomorrow if you are dead set on the Bronze (nice stuff - used it myself).
Only other thought is that Dixons (spit) sell Ixos speaker cable. I've no idea which sort or how much per metre.
How much do you need to make up the gaps? I might be able to spare a length from my centre speaker (biwired) ... but it'd only be about 2 - 3m max. I don't know how you feel about joining cable. I'm in Kendal too ... so quite a drive.
Or ... how about finding a Richer open? I doubt they'll sell QED ... but maybe something else suitable.
