ive been looking around at different players for a gift and am wondering what to get for around £100 (can go over that...)

I believe that's an old model.
Why not go for the Pioneer DV360 or the Toshiba 330 for £90 and £100 respectively.... both available at Amazon.co.uk with free delivery.
the Toshiba 330 features are amazing, does anyone know what the reliability is like ?
Toshibas usually only output NTSC as pure NTSC and not as PAL 60 (i have not read any reviews of the 330 yet), so make sure the tv can handle it first. I have the older 220 and am very pleased with it.:thumbs:

Not limited to region 1, i have seen a couple of region 4 and at least 1 region 2 ntsc discs.
