Question:
I have the LG14 and tuner box, and am having a fiddle with connections.
I have the following to connect;
DVD Player/Recorder
Telewest DigiBox
The Tuner box has two scart inputs which, ideally, I would like to use. Does anyone know if AV1 and AV2 on the tuner box will both accept an RGB signal?
I have the Telewest box set to output RGB and connected to AV1, and the picture is pretty good.
However, rather than use Component for my DVD I want to use RGB scart as, to my eye, the picture is more colourful and sharper - however, connected to AV2 on the LG tuner box, the resulting picture is not that of the connection originally through AV1... The DVD is set to output RGB, but through the second input on the tuner box it is not as good as previously!
My connections are thus;
Telewest Digibox (RGB scart) -> LG Tuner AV1
Telewest Digibox (VCR scart) -> DVDR L2
DVDR L1 -> LG Tuner AV2
Any help appreciated!
Can't you configure the scarts via the onscreen menu? Does it automatically detect if you're using rgb, composite or s-video?
Sorry this didn't really answer your question but on my thomson plasma you just go into the menu and setup the scarts however you want.
