Hi,
I need a new DVD player, I was thinking of the Compacks 5000 but have and althougth first impressions were great and the specs are good I notice it is having problems with DVD's such as the Matrix.
So basicaly there are so many cheap DVD's online now and in Supermarkets I just want a good one!, around £50, £60 pound, slim chance of streching all the way to £70 but maybe!
Basically picture quality is the most important and it needs to be multi region and have a good NTSC picture! Being able to play whatever is thrown at it is also a plus but not essential! So what is know to be good and reliable at the moment? I read somewhere that a cyberhome or something is good at the moment or a scan DVD player? please help!!
There are loads of threads about this mate. Check a couple out or put a search in for a player you know.
My vote was and still is the Pacific 1002. Cheap aswell.:)

I know I've been reading them but not much info really, I was just looking for some recomendations, too many to choose from.
Cyberhome 400 gets the best 'budget' 'budget' reviews on other forums. WH Smiths have it for £50, although it's free delivery if ordered through ryanaironlineshop.com :-)
On preorder for the 30 June if you can wait.
