Question:
Can anyone recommend a DVD player which is DTS and multiregion (or hackable by remote)? Upto £150.
Many thanks

Thank you. Although, the original poster specifies that DTS is not a requirement, whereas it is for me.
I'll have a wade through though ;)
Can you still buy DVD players that wont play DTS? Surely not!

I'll have a wade through though ;) Definately outputs DTS - as does 99.999999999999% of players nowadays..
some of them don't have a DTS encoder though, or am I talking 'rse?
EDIT: I haven't actually had chance to look through the list so I don't know what player you are refering to. Stop picking on me!

yep, probably 99.999999999999%* of players do not have onboard DTS decoding..
:dork:
*this is a made up statistic

Hang on, you said DON'T HAVE ONBOARD DTS decoding.
Hang on, you said DON'T HAVE ONBOARD DTS decoding.
Indeed I did..
Most players nowadays do *not* have onboard DD/DTS decoding.
However, most - if not all - players nowadays *do* output a DD/DTS digital bitstream which is sent to an external decoder (usually an AV amp).
So, unless you've already got an old pro-logic amp kicking around that has a 6ch input, then you don't need a player with onboard decoding..
:dork:
Thank you for clearing that up.
Many thanks
