Question:
I'm thinking about buying a disk from www.dvdchips.co.uk to make a Toshiba SD120e multiregional.
Has anyone used this method?
What does it involve me doing once I get the disk? How easy is it?
Thanks in advance!
probly shove the disk in and press some buttons, probly will have to be on the player, so you'll have to get up:) and if your unlucky they might be need some breakable fingers to hold the buttons they need down.
Can't really see any thing difficult they could make you do.

I have updated the firmware in my DenonA1 on more than one occasion using a cd.
It'll just be a case on inserting the disc holding a button down to reboot the machine and start the new software and Bobs your uncle!
Don't worry yourself just hope that your tv can accept a NTSC signal ;)
insert , play , wait , remove
Just did my Panasonic with disks from Steve and as long as you follow the instruction it couldn't be easier !!!
Is this how my Toshiba 330 was made multi region?
Does it disable macrovision?
Thanks
I wouldn't bother buying anything ... just download the update and burn it to a CD-R

What type of update am I looking for? Any keywords?
This hack only works on the 220, doesn't it ?
Not sure the new player can be hacked that way.
