Question:
I am planning on buying a reciever, and i m also buying a set of sat/sub. the problem is that i dont know what to do with my mini HI-FI stereo now!
should i connect it as an additional device?
should i only use its speakers as front loudspeakers?
the speakers i buy match: 100 Watts , 8 ohm, but will the sat match with the stereo all buy themselves?
please help!
Most surround-sound speaker systems include the front stereo pair and the stereo speaks on most mini systems are not up to much. I'd move the old kit into a spare room and quietly forget about it. :)
You think a pair of satellite speaker as fronts will do a better job than a pair of a sony mini hi-fi speakers?
I was told that the fronts are the most important speakers, but the question is: will the hi-fi speakers (3-way, 100W, 8 ohm, bass reflex) do a better job than the sat ones (also 100W and 8 Ohm, but only 2-way). I m using a woofer each way, but will the sats be good for music as well? not just movies?
